Isabelle at 17 days

Well, here she is... Isabelle Rose Lambert. Isn't she so cute. Ok, maybe I am a little biased. I haven't blogged anything in a while and this is why.

I will say that after having twins, having just one is a lot easier. Even with the other two running around, I still find time to do things like this. With Zachary and Amelia, I don't think I did anything besides take care of them for two months.

I am very happy with how this picture turned out. I hope to have more of these types of shots in the future.

18 Month Appt.

Just a quick update on Zachary and Amelia. They just had there 18 mo. appt. and everything is looking good with them. They are doing pretty well in there development except there speech isn't as far along as we would like to see. But apparently this is pretty common with multiples because they have their own speech they use and thus don't use real english. But we have noticed that in the last 3 weeks they have really started to try and say words. Some of them are daddy, mommy, cheese, pop (their version of toast because that is what it does when it comes out of the toaster),milk, and uh-oh.

Zach has dropped down a little in the percentiles for weight. They want him to come back in 3 mo. for a weight check. Otherwise Amelia is still tall and skinny. 90% for height and 25% for weigth. Zach is 75 percentile for height and 25 percentile for weight. There is only like about a pound difference in weight and yet it feel so much more.

Fireworks Everywhere

Took pictures of fireworks for the first time on the 4th of July. They turned out ok. But with the lack of buildings to help ground the shot all they were just a bunch of bright streaks in the sky.

This was shot on the first day that I had gotten my new NIkon 70-300mm VRII lens. I shot this in our backyard toward evening with the sun coming from camera right. I like the shallow depth of field of the image and how the light in the background brings your eye toward Zachary. Plus i just love his expression here. Very typical of him.

First Real Post, Photography

Ok, so now that I have had a chance to setup my blog, I think I will try a real post. Most of you that know me know that I have gotten into photography a bit. I have been posting some of the pictures I have been doing on my flickr account at...

Testing posting for a second time to see how multiple posts look in the xml that gets posted to my ftp site. These are pretty exciting I know.

My First Post
